Today is the first official day of my boys’ Spring Break. Which means that overnight, we got this:
And this morning, it looks like this:
I wanted those yahoos out of the house riding their bikes and playing basketball in their friend’s driveway. Instead they get to help their Dad keep the driveway and sidewalk clear by SHOVELING THREE INCHES OF SNOW.
My flights to Detroit and Kansas City MO (where tonight’s overnight low temp is supposed to be 25 degrees) are on time so far, so hopefully that means I won’t have any delays (knock on wood). I’m so excited to be visiting Hallmark tomorrow and seeing what they have in store for us!
Oh yeah, and I spent $160.00 in store credit at Macy’s on new clothes for the trip. New SHORT SLEEVE tops, of course. I was bitching to Chris that I should have bought sweaters instead, and he pointed out that if I had, the temperature would have been 70 degrees instead. He’s probably right.

Hah! So you got our winter weather. We’re having an odd “warm” snap of 60* temps, which is a bit strange for April around these parts. It’ll snow again soon enough though.
Wow. It’s hard for me to believe that some places in the country are getting snow right now. Well, hope you enjoy your trip.
Aww, looks really bed, I’m sure the warm spring sun will melt the snow in no time when it gets there.

We got hit with a cold blast this morning too. I had frost on my car windows this morning! It is insane. They say back to the upper 70s maybe 80s this weekend which will be nice.
