PayPerPost completely redesigned

Author: Elizabeth

If you’ve ever checked out PayPerPost, you know that the current system shows lists of paid post ‘opportunities’ and it’s up to the bloggers to grab the opps on a first-come, first-served basis. Well, all of that is about to change. PayPerPost has taken three years’ worth of user feedback and completely redesigned the model from the ground up. Say hello to PayPerPost v4.0:

I haven’t seen the advertiser side, but the blogger side is unlike anything PayPerPost has ever done before.  The blogger completes a very quick and easy sign-up form including setting their OWN PRICE for sponsored links and their price PER WORD for a paid post.  The blogger’s profile also includes their desired category and a list of keywords related to their site. This helps match up the best advertisers for each blogger.

Best of all,  with the new PayPerPost, bloggers can choose for themselves whether they want the sponsored link(s) in each post to be Follow or NoFollow. Google prefers NoFollow and is less likely to penalize a blog for having sponsored posts if the links aren’t followed.

The site is still in Alpha testing, if you’d like an invite, please go to the PayPerPost v4.0 Alpha page and leave a comment.  I hope that advertisers will be as excited about this new way of engaging bloggers in sponsored conversations as I am!

The advertiser side is well laid out, similar to the blogger side. I think their site is very logical and well-styled. My only issue is how SLLOOOOOWWWW it is to load. I think they must be having a hard time keeping up with the volume on their servers or something… IMHO.

Al- the IZEA blog says that they did a database migration and the loading time is cut in half. It wasn’t just you!
