How would YOU like a free pass to the IZEAFest Conference taking place at SeaWorld Orlando in October? One of the perks of my position as an IZEA Insider is getting to give away 4 free passes to THE Social Media Conference of the year.

IZEFest takes place on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel at SeaWorld. The free pass you can win includes a special event on  Thursday, October 1st, Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens, and another special event on Sunday, October 4th, Blogger Takeover Day at SeaWorld! That’s right, win one of the four free passes I’m giving away, and you’ll get a trip to Busch Gardens, a two day conference, AND a ticket to SeaWorld!  Plus you get to participate in IZEAHunt, a scavenger hunt like no other, AND you get to meet ME and my fellow IZEA Insiders!. Pretty freaking awesome.

The Keynote Speakers for the conference are Ted Murphy, CEO of IZEA, and Aaron Brazell, who owns the social media analysis site Technosailor.  Leading the session discussions are some names you might recognize-  Brian Clark of Copyblogger, blogger/publisher Chris Brogan of ChrisBrogan.com, social media strategist Chris Heuer of ChrisHeuer.com, word of mouth marketer David Binkowski, George Smith from Crocs.com, Lucretia Pruitt from GeekMommy.net, and Wendy Piersall from Sparkplugging.  Talk about learning from industry experts! So, before I get into the details of the giveaway, I want to make sure I’m clear- this giveaway is ONLY for a free conference pass good for IZEAFest, which includes sessions, a free t-shirt, lunch both days, cocktail receptions Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as the IZEAHunt,  Howl-O-Scream event and Sunday at SeaWorld. The winners will be responsible for transportation including airfare,  their hotel stay, additional meals, and personal expenses. The hotel rate is $99 a night, it’s lower if you are a member of AAA and possibly other groups as well.  I’ll have a link the winners can use to book their hotel at the IZEAFest rate.

So, let’s get this giveaway started! Here’s how to enter:

WIN IT: For your main entry, leave a comment on this post telling me why you want to go to IZEAFest. Is it to learn from blogging and marketing experts? Meet fellow bloggers? Feed dolphins at SeaWorld? All of the above? lol

RULES: Enter by Tuesday, September 1st at 9:00 AM EST. Your main entry MUST be a comment telling me why you want to go to IZEAFest. Comments that say “I want to go” or “thanks” or anything like that will be DELETED at my discretion. When filling in the comment field, you must use a REAL FIRST NAME or the name of your blog. Comments left with keywords instead of names will be DELETED. I know your Mom didn’t name you “seo master” or “real estate arizona”, so just don’t even try. Winners will be contacted by email and given a code that gives them 100% off registration. Open to anyone available to attend the conference 18 years and older.

    I would love to attend, to meet fellow blogger’s and learn new stuff. I think it would be an awesome opportunity. Not to mention I live in Orlando, so I wouldn’t have to pay to get here! :)

    Arggg, just wrote my five great reasons as to why I would like to win one of the Izea Conference passes and it vanished…and so I will try again:

    When I started my website seven months ago I was in the dark ages about social networking and so I did not get a ticket to the ‘09 Blogher Conference. I now fully understand the importance of it and have the desire to become a social networking afficionado.

    When I first read about the Izea conference I thought to myself how cool that would be to meet well tuned and informed bloggers amongst the whales.

    I could kill two birds with one large stone by having the kids stay with their grandma, who they haven’t been able to visit for a few years due to a hole in our pockets.

    I could enjoy any ride I wanted to and Twitter and blog about it and not have to deal with my three hellion boys, wired on cotton candy, demanding me to ride the loop roller coaster with them repeatedly to adnauseam.

    Nah – the real reasons are to meet fellow bloggers, network with industry experts and learn as much as I can about the space before launching my company (which has to do with blogging and affiliate marketing).

    I never win anything but there’s a first time for everything, right? I’m going to tweet it right now. (Great marketing idea btw). Cheers!

    I want to go because I’m working toward my PhD and am actually focusing on blogging as a new media method that is underused. :-) So it’s a professional “want” as well as a personal “want.”

    I just recently started my blog (in June) and I am even more of a newbie at using Twitter. I would like to learn more about current trends in both blogging and social media so that I can both utilize them in the building of my personal brand and share them with visitors to my Blog and Twitter page.

    Izeafest will be my first blogging event that I have attended and I am very excited about going. Even if I don’t win the free tickets I am going to do everything in my power to be able to attend.

    I’d like to go to hang out with my friends Brandon, Wendy and others (and those I could maybe convince to go, as well). Would be fun.

    As an aside, when I was small, I actually sat on Baby Shamu. :) Before they stopped allowing it. I have a Polaroid.

    I would love to go to IZEAFest because I believe that just being in the same areas as these great bloggers I will learn so much. Plus I have never been to SeaWorld. I can just imagine how fun it is.

    I would really love to go to this because I have just started teaching Intro to Digital Media at a local college and everything you mention would be great feedback to the students. I also blog, write online and have a husband who does podcasts online for handyman projects. We love being a new media couple and would love to learn from IZEAFest!

    I want to go to this conference so badly, I’ve already marked it on my calendar with a wishful-looking sad little heart by it, because I know I can’t go because of the $$$ situation. But if I WON a ticket, I might be able to manage all the other! Oh, I love blog conferences so much! It’s such a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills and to hone up the old ones. Best of all, I love to see the people whose blogs I’ve been reading all these years, and to hear them tell me how to improve my own. What a lovely contest! Thank you for the opportunity!
