This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to the winner, comment #251 from Rhonda at dun4fun! That comment was a tweet, I verified that she also left the required main entry. With 14 grandchildren, I’m sure she’ll have plenty of help eating all that dark chocolate!

edited to add: um, yeah. Thanks to a tweet from an observant reader, I’m back to pick the OTHER TWO WINNERS. ahem. Okay, I ran the comment numbers through random.org again, and here are the remaining two winners of Ultimate Best Life totes:

enjoy your prizes!

edited to add: I forgot to thank Hershey’s, Bob Greene’s Best Life Diet, and Katie from JSH&A for sponsoring this special giveaway celebrating Table for Five’s FOURTH BIRTHDAY!!  It’s my blog’s birthday, my readers get the chance to win the gifts!

I’m so thrilled to be partnering with Hershey’s for this giveaway. Hershey’s Extra Dark Chocolate is the first chocolate bar to earn renowned health and fitness expert Bob Greene’s Best Life Treat Seal of Approval, which is awarded to treats that offer a nutrition edge over other products in their class and come in portion sizes of 150 calories or less.

I’ll be honest, I was supposed to run this giveaway while it was still SUMMER, so it might seem odd to be giving away a beach tote and beach towel, but look at it this way- you’ll have something to use at indoor pools or save for next summer if you win.

The Hershey Company and Bob Greene would like to help YOU live your best life while still being able to treat yourself. Hershey’s Extra Dark Chocolate comes in individual squares that are just the right amount. There’s Original, Chocolate with Raspberry, and Chocolate with Cranberries, Blueberries and Almonds for even more of a nutritional punch. Packed in a colorful beach tote, each giveaway includes a copy of Bob Greene’s “The Best Life Diet” and “The Best Life Diet Cookbook” along with plenty of Hershey’s Extra Dark Chocolate for a delicious, but indulgence. To finish off, the totes will include an aluminum water bottle, pedometer, and beach towel to create the ultimate “Best Life” giveaway. Retail value $100, and I have three to give away!

I really want to enter this. I know this does not count as an entry but was wondering if I could get the link to Bob Greene’s site. I can’t seem to find it in the post. Will search for the right one and come back. I LOVE dark chocolate.

  2. Shelly says:

Yay, I found it. I think one of the most beneficial features of the plan is the three phase strategy. My parents follow the South Beach diet and every so often go back to Phase 1 to get back into the groove of things. I like the flexibility this offers to maintain the new lifestyle it creates.

I like that it’s baby steps. Not a huge change all at once that I won’t be able to continue as a lifestyle change. thanks

i like the idea that it is a diet that takes small steps to make lifestyle changes that can last a lifetime. I think in the long run this is so much more effective than a diet where you drink shakes as a substitute for meals and then gain back all the weight once you stop drinking the shakes.

  28. Danielle says:

The greatest benefit for me is the support system. It’s always helpful when you have others going through the same thing you are. They understand your struggles.

  29. Tamara B. says:

One great benefit is it helps you keep your calories in check. You’ll do so primarily by managing your hunger using a tool called the Hunger Scale, putting a lid on sweets and eating proper portions. And with our calorie counter, you’ll see how close you’re coming to your daily calorie goal each day.

One great benefit is the self-help guide for emotional eating. I know I do it. It doesn’t have to be depressed or angry, I eat out of boredom or to celebrate something. I think this would be a great tool to help me curb this emotional eating. Thanks.

  59. alycep says:

I think the main benefit for me would be the recipes-in other diet plans they either give you the food so you cannot do it on your own later or their guidance is not specific enough and I get confused as to what I can eat. The support, without having to travel to a meeting to get it, is a plus as well.
