I started getting up early way back when my kids were little. Even when they were babies they would sleep in, so I could, too. However, if I let that happen, then I found myself playing catch up all day. If I got up before the kids, I had time to start my day and get some stuff done before I had to move into mommy mode and take care of them. I still get up at 5:45 every morning and go walking. I wake my son up before we leave (my husband goes with me now) and he gets himself ready. Of course, he is a senior, so he should be able to!?
