This year i had decided to grow our own pumpkin and i had start planing for that. I hope for the best results.

I’m going to have to snap some up this week if there are any left! Yikes!
But I found a recipe with butternut squash that tastes just like pumpkin pie, so I will make do if I have to.

I had heard about this a while back. Several of the stores have been out of pumpkin. I bought several cans the other day since we make a lot of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cake this time of year along with pumpkin pancakes.

I am so glad that I was able to grown my own pumpkins this year despite our really wet late summer.
