Today is a very special day! It’s Toy Tuesday, brought to you by Bill Me Later, the shopping service that makes online shopping easy, safe, and convenient. Go to the Toy Tuesday site to find extra-special deals today on the holiday’s most wanted toys and gifts from leading retailers such as Toys “R” Us, Walmart.com, Step 2, Little Tikes, eToys, drugstore.com, FAO Schwarz, HP, Overstock.com, MacMall, Mercantila and more.
To help promote Toy Tuesday, Bill Me Later chose 12 bloggers to each host a one-day giveaway of a $250 gift card to one of the participating retailers, and today, it’s my turn! I am so honored to have been chosen to be the host of Toy Tuesday itself, and I want to give a shout-out to the eleven bloggers who have each done such a great job over the past eleven days of promoting Toy Tuesday and hosting their own giveaways!
Ellen Seidman – Love That Max, Cassidy Engle – First Time Around Blogger, Elizabeth – A Nut in a Nutshell, Linsey B. Knerl – Lille Punkin Reviews, Carissa Rogers – Good N Crazy , Linda Sellars – Short Pump Preppy, Kim Becker – Mommy Knows, Jodi Grundig – Moms Favorite Stuff, Laurie Turk – Tip Junkie, Briana – Bargain Briana, and Lana Barhum – Loving It, Loving It.
They each shared memories of favorite toys from the past, and how they choose Christmas gifts for their kids, so please pay them each a visit to get terrific ideas for your holiday shopping. Each of these bloggers gave away a $250 gift card AND their winner had $500 donated to a local children’s hospital or charity thanks to the Toy Tuesday campaign. Toy Tuesday has donated $6,000 to charity so far!
Before I start the giveaway, I want to share with you my favorite toy from when I was a child. I don’t have the original any more, but I do have a good story to tell. My favorite toy was my Fisher Price Play Family House, with the yellow roof and the blue walls, that I got the year I was three (1971). It came with a family, and a dog, and some furniture, and a little car, and I LOVED IT. I don’t blame my Mom for selling it in a garage sale after I stopped playing with it; she had no way to know that when I grew up, I would wish I had it to pass on to my children.
Then, the summer after Kaitlyn was born, the kids and I saw an ad in the paper for a sale being held by a former preschool teacher who was selling all of her classroom items. It was held in the community room of a nearby church. Everyone in that room heard me when I let out a SHRIEK upon finding THIS:

There it was, my childhood dollhouse! Sure, the front decal is stained, some of the stickers are ripped, and the wood base is pretty chewed up, but it was MY dollhouse, and it was Only. One. Dollar. It was like fate had brought me and my dollhouse together again! I had to have it. I brought it home and showed it to Kaitlyn, and it’s been hers ever since. Dollhouses give kids a way to act out family relationships, to practice nurturing and caring for others, and to arrange and organize in a way that makes sense to them.

Would you believe I have that same house in front of me on the coffee table as I type this?! My destruct-o-bot two year old managed to rip most of the paper “siding” off the front this week, after it had stayed intact for probably 30 years… we got it at a garage sale when we first moved into the neighborhood and I must have shrieked like you did when I saw it and dinged the little doorbell, even more when I saw that they wanted $10 for it and another $10 for the farmhouse (remember that one?!). I could only justify one so we got this one.
My daughter wants dog toys and my son wants robot toys although I think there is probably some leeway. A wooden trainset and bicycles are up there, too.
My kids aren’t asking for anything too specific. They like video games and stuff they can build, make, create, etc. and robots
My kids aren’t being really vocal about what they want this year. The baby is too small to really say. My 3yo wants every single thing he sees on tv. My 8 and 9 year old haven’t said anything they want but I know they would love video games and crafty stuff. My 16 yo will likely want money but I won’t give her that. She will probably get clothes and/or jewelry.
Kids get harder and harder to buy for it seems!
Thanks for the chance.

My youngest is almost 2 and he wants toys to climb on and a slide. My daughter would like dress up stuff and my oldest son the tween is into video games and electronics.
My 3.5yr old tells me he wants cookies when I ask lol. We got him a vtech camera, and 2 games(Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders) and are still looking for a couple more things. So far for my 8month old daughter we are undecided, we need to look around this weekend!
My kids just want to be in the same house as daddy this year for Christmas. Which yes, technically on Christmas Day they will be, but I’m stuck doing the single parent thing here until our house sells – so hubby’s renting a little room by his new job in the meantime.
Toy wise though… maybe some of the regular (small) sized legos, all we have are the medium sized duplos. More Lincoln Logs, and hubby thinks they’d love an old school Marbleworks or K’Nex something-or-other.
Oh, and I don’t have the same Little People house you do – I have my old school brown-shaded Tudor-looking Little People house. And the swimming pool and the playground, and something else, hidden in a box in the pile known as the basement.
My girls have gone through two loving family dollhouses; the first two outgrew theirs, then the younger girls were given one. They have all loved the loving family people–especially our son. He puts them in tractors and trucks, and uses them with his linking logs!
Would love to have some more legos to add to the collection, as well as a couple of games to play together.
I never had a dollhouse. I was too much of a tom-boy! lol
My sons are asking for cell phones and video games!

my son wants anything with wheels! he loves cars, trucks, bull dozers and dump trucks. i would really like to get a wagon for him though.

My nephew is wanting that Playskool Kota and Pals Monty T-Rex. It is pretty pricey though, so I am not sure Santa will be able to afford it! BTW I did not have your dollhouse as a little girl, but I did have one similar to it!
My dd has rquested a pink or purple drum and a princess scooter (which she reers to as a “cart”)
I really want some Melissa and Doug puzzles for my son. He loves them!
I used to have that same doll house and I loved it but, times have changed and if it is not electronis or legos it is not wanted in this house my children have been asking for nintendo dsithanks for the chance to win.

My kids don’t pets nor have specific demands, they love games especially video games
I’ll be real honest. My son has asked for almost every toy in every Toys-R-Us ad that we’ve gotten since Thanksgiving. He keeps saying he wants a new remote control car though.
My daughter has been wanting a camera or a learning laptop for kids. My son has been wanting the zhu zhu pet (I did finally get one) and the zippity. This giveaway if I am so lucky could be the greatest thing as far as stress..I haven’t completed my Christmas Shopping yet. I did not have the same doll house as you did but I had a little wooden one my uncle gave me. I let my cousin use it at her house for a night because my mom told me too..lol She completely demolished it. I cried for 2 days over that doll house. My youngest daughter has a plastic dollhouse that I bought for $10 and she takes really great care of hers so maybe hers will last a long time.
I remember one of my friends having that dollhouse, but I myself did not have that one. We did have the farm and I do have fond memories of playing with it, as well as my little brother and sister after me — it got a lot of use!!!
This year my kids really, really want a Wii and the Toy Story Mania game to go with it! I would love to win this giveaway because that will be the only way we can afford to get it for them! It has been a tough year!
Thanks for doing this giveaway! I love that there will also be a donation to a local charity! That is awesome!!!
My little man is wanting anything with balls. He loves balls so I wanted to get him a ball pit. He would be in heavan if he had a ball pit.
I did not have the same dollhouse as you, but my neighbor did. I had a barbie house with an elevator. I did love playing with my dollhouse and the neighbors too.
They want LOTS of things, but mainly a Wii

My kids want money… ok they are older, but they feel like they can “get what they want” as long as the money comes from mom and dad. I guess it isn’t that bad (as they are older) as it can teach them just how far money “doesn’t” go these days. However we will likely not go that route and instead try to ferret out the real wants so we can buy them ON SALE!

My kids really want a play kitchen for Christmas. And about a million other things. That’s the big one, though. Unfortunately, I never had a dollhouse. Always wanted one, but money was tight.
My kids are too small to know what they want, but they would buy stock in Veggie Tales if they could!

My little one isn’t able to actually tell me what she wants this year, but I’m sure she would enjoy something she could cuddle. She’s starting to carry around her little stuffed animals and give them a hug. I can’t wait to get her a BlaBla doll and I’ve also had my eye on the line from MiYim (especially the fairy doll!) My sKids are tweens now and are both drooling over the electronics; digital cameras, cell phones, anything that is hot now.
I wasn’t lucky enough to have that dollhouse, but I had friends that did. My Mom got me one of those big tin Marx dollhouses one Christmas. I probably played with that toy longer than anything I owned. I still cannot believe I gave it away to a neighbor. That’s what Ebay is for though, right?
Wii games are the thing this Christmas. I had a metal dollhouse when I was young, would have loved a “real” one.
My kids are little. They really wanted Christmas lights on the house. I finally caved and put some up in the freezing cold! We are getting our little boy some Pixar Cars items, he loves the movie.
My older son wants Star Wars figures and my younger son loves anything from Hot Wheels. I’d really love to buy my baby girl a dollhouse. It’s been my dream to have one, ever since I was a child. We didn’t have the money when I was a child.
My son really wants an XBox 360 & a new Mp3 player. My daughter is only 4 & doesn’t really want anything specific, just as long as Santa drops off something. Thanks for the great giveaway!
My boys really want BMX bikes for Christmas this year – and anything Lego!
My kids really want a playstation for Christmas!
My 4 year old daughter wants an art easel and a broom (no joke), my year old wants a Cars toddler bed with Tinkerbell sheets, and my 6 month old can’t wait for the wrapping paper. I am giving her fabric blocks that I made.
My son wants the Bakugan 7 in 1 Dragonoid. Wonderful giveaway! I know you didn’t ask, but if I won, I would finish up shopping for my son, maybe buy a Wii Fit, and buy some more toys to donate as well.

Both of my daughters really want the MindFlex Game thingy. They think its super cool to try and move things with your mind alone! But jeesh, its pretty expensive! The cheapest I have seen it has been for $79! Sure hope I win:)
My kids haven’t asked for a lot this year. My daughter wants a Pillow Pet (and I can’t find one anywhere) and my son wants Lego Indiana Jones on Wii. Now I have to get creative and figure out what else to buy them.
My older boy tells me he would love anything batman, while my little one seems to be memorized by cookie monster. I did not have that dollhouse, but do have a similiar one we got a few years ago.

Well, we don’t do Christmas, so my kids aren’t asking for anything for Christmas – that doesn’t mean they aren’t always asking for something, though. What my son really wants are some new games for the Wii, and the big kid (my husband) wants one too. He’s been wanting the new sports resort one. I’m not really sure which ones Cory wants. Oh, and Cory is always looking for new Bionicles.

My godson really wants Elmo Hands this christmas. He has been pretty good so he might just get his wish from Santa.
My girls want the usual for Christmas this year…the 6 year old wants a DSi and the 2 yo wants an Orange Baby…someone PLEASE tell me what an orange baby is?! I’m freaking out! Thanks for the giveaway!
My 5 year old is so excited for Christmas this year! We aren’t getting our kids a lot, because of the nice economy. My oldest daughter wants Strawberry Shortcake stuff, Barbies, High School Musical stuff, and clothes. My almost 3 year old has discovered Blues Clues and asked for Blues Clues things. My 5 month old wants some new toys and clothes!
For Chanukah, my oldest son wants Toy Story Mania for the Nintendo Wii. We loved that ride on our recent Disney World vacation. Up until last night, I would have said that my youngest wanted a guitar, but then he saw big brother’s Fisher Price Kid Tough Digital Camera and went berserk asking for his own camera. The little one is definitely Little Mr. Copycat!

OMG!!!! I’ve been entering dilligently for these toy tuesday giveaways each day hoping I’d win, but now I will have to cross all my fingers, toes, eyes, arms, legs and anything else crossable. TRU is the one I really really really want!!! We were just in TRU the other day shopping for my niece and nephew when my girls saw one of the FP Powerwheels cars. Both girls were like “Can we please have that? We’ll be really nice and share and take turns?” First, I have to say that my kids rarely ask for anything. They don’t have the gimmees (yet) and before this had only asked for those hairy koosh balls for Christmas (which I got them – also from TRU). A couple years ago I got a great deal on one of those cars for my nephew for his BDay and the girls love to play with it when they go over to visit (I know . . . I should have gotten two when I got his
( !) I would be thrilled to be able to get them the one thing they really want. Thanks so much for the opportunity!
BTW – I didn’t have the same dollhouse, but I did have a wooden one I loved. I actually was thinking of getting the girls a dollhouse for Christmas though and may if I don’t get super lucky with this giveaway.

Madison wants a bike. Little does she know that I already have one bought and in the attic for her birthday in January.
Wii Resort and of course any and all Littlest Pet Shop are high on the list this year.
I would love to stumble upong my childhood dollhouses – I had one that was a tree house with a little crank elevator, and a 4-room open back tin house (actually belonged to my older sister)
I don’t recall having that house but a funny thing I do remembermy sister having was the little people Holiday Inn . lol
My kids are asking, but not sure if they are getting these things yet. It will depend on the amount of sales that come in over the rest of this week.
They want a Wii that will be shared by the whole family.
I kind of want that too, sounds like fun.
My oldest daughter wants boots and a a memory card for her camera.
My oldest son wants these Turtle Beach (expensive) headphones for playing xbox
My youngest son wants video games and lego city
My youngest daughter said she doesn’t really care and she’ll be happy with whatever she gets. She really likes to craft and she is learning to sew so I might get her a real sewing machine. She is only 6.
Thanks for the chance at this giveaway Elizabeth.
Happy Holidays to you!

I LOVE LOVE doll houses. I’ve always wanted one!! Now, with 3 boys, I doubt I will… at least not for a while.

I actually had that exact doll house! I remember playing with it when I was little but it had been handed down from, I think, my aunt, who is just 10 years older than I am! My daughter has the Little People doll house (she is almost 5 and still plays with it) and the Barbie Dream House, which was my way of living through her because I never had one but always wanted one!
What my daughter really wants for Christmas this year is the new Strawberry Shortcake doll that comes with the “magic wand” to put makeup on her and hair extensions. She also wants a Zhu Zhu pet but her #1 on her Christmas list is an iPhone. We do not believe that kids should have phones let alone iPhones. I really wish that there was an iPhone toy! She loves our phones because she can play games on them while talking to someone! Don’t expect a child’s toy to make calls but it would be great if there was a toy out there that looked like an iPhone and had educational games on it that look like apps.
My son LOVES Thomas the Tank ANYTHING! So, I am hoping to get some more items for him this year – they are SO expensive.
I remember having that house and sharing it with my sister when I was younger!
Christina Mikols
My son has been asking for Bakugan’s, Transformer & Star Wars Toys. My daughter is still young and doesn’t ask for anything specific. She does like Barbies & Baby Dolls though.
My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter has an obsession with Noddy! Where and the world do you find this guy???!!!
TRU – PLEASE HELP!
Anyway, she LOVES Blue’s Clues and Elmo too! So, at least I have a back-up plan!

My four girls want all sorts of dolls and girly things like purses, baby beds, and dress-up.My two older girls would love new bikes. My one and only son is a big fan of all things MALE and would love to have his hands on a new army of matchbox cars and rescue heroes

I can relate to your dollhouse story, when my daughter was preschool age she won a homemade victorian dollhouse at the church bazaar. It’s beautiful, even though she’s too old to play with it, I kept it. It’s in the attic for whenever she wants it.

I actually didn’t have a dollhouse when I was little but if I did I would have chosen one like that!!
My kids are actually very lucky this year and have more than enough christmas presents. So I would take that giftcard to my local TRU and load up on gifts to give my son’s school for the unfortunate families in our tiny town. I’ve got a few things already set aside for the families but this would certainly help!
Merry Christmas!
I didn’t have the FP dollhouse, but I wanted it! As kids, we had many people, furniture, cars, but used them in a wooden doll house. I was so excited to buy the FP dollhouse for my daughter. We upgraded to the FP
Loving Family doll house when my oldest was 3.
This year, my oldest is 13! She wants clothes and a ski jacket. I long for the days of buying toys. So much cheaper!
The 11-year-old wants DS and wii games, and Twilight Barbies.
The 6-year-old is the easiest to buy for. Name a super hero or a action movie and he would love the toy. Transformers…GI Joe…Spiderman…

I have two absolutely adorable and precious little boys, ages 2 & 9months living in my home. They aren’t my children … they’re even better. They are my grandsons! I am blessed to no end that God has chosen me to be their Grandma.
Back in the early spring I was out shopping with the babies. We pulled into a parking spot and strapped down to the top of the van sitting beside us was a John Deere Gator. Lil Man saw it and fell in love. All through the store he kept asking for one. I explained to him that was an expensive toy to buy ‘just because’. I told him that was the kind of toy he asked Santa for. I honestly expected that to be the end of the conversation. BOY was I surprised!! Not a day has gone by, since that warm spring day in a K-Mart parking lot where he first saw the “Gator” that Lil Man hasn’t reminded me that is what he wants from Santa. This is his first Christmas to be fully involved in the understanding of Christmas, Santa, and all the glitz that goes with it. So on Christmas Eve we will read the Christmas Store from the book of Luke, we will read The Night Before Christmas, we will leave cookies for Santa, and we will tuck the babies in bed. After they are soundly asleep we will have a visit from Santa where a John Deere Gator will be delivered for one of the most precious little boys in the world.
I loved the picture of that dollhouse. My sister had it and it is now one of the staple toys at my mother’s house that everyone, regardless of age or gender, can be found playing with at some point in our visit.
This is an interesting year, we are entering a pre-tween phase (I don’t even know if that exists) so we are getting requests for things that are a bit old for them, or so we think. The boys are 8 and 10, so items like cell phones and an iPod Touch are emerging.
When it comes down to it though they understand that these are dream gifts that they know they aren’t likely to get. One game that continues to come up is the MindFlex Mental Game http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3458506 (not an affiliate link) because the idea of controlling something with your mind seems sooo cool. As parents we were skeptical, but the reviews seem quite good.
Our daughter, who is 5, has a keen interest in all things doll and a few years back we purchased the fisher price doll house that allows you to buy new room sets and people. This has been much loved and used toy for her and I suspect that she may one day have a similar reaction at a yard sale when she sees it.
Thanks for the giveaway.

My kids have two big wants for this Christmas: Mini trampoline and Littlest Pet Shop toys! They also want a dog but I don’t think we can get one at the toy store…
Regarding the dollhouse: One of my friends had that when I was young. Had a nice barn set-up also. I made the one my girls have.
Thanks!
I will be buying my darling granddaughter Elmo stuff galore this year! However, I REALLY need to find stuff from the shows on Noggin & Sprout! Noddy, Blue, Dora to name a few – she lies that too!

I love the old Fisher Price toys. When my kids were younger I bought a bunch at garage sales and ebay for them to play with, including that yellow house. Their favorite was the Fisher Price castle, the people that came with that had crowns, and they loved them. Now my youngest is 10, and he wants legos and video games for christmas. My teen daughters just want electronics and clothes. They were definitely more fun to shop for when they were younger.
My 8 year old has asked Santa for a Webkinz and a ‘hair streaker’. My toddler will be getting some Maisy books and a pop up tent with tunnels.
I had a similar house from Fisher Price. I think it was a little people house and I also had the schoolhouse, which was my favorite because it had a magnetic roof and you could stick alphabet letters to it. I also had the three story garage with the tiny little gas pump you could use to put gas in the little people cars. It had a really cool crank elevator, too. The cars would glide down a long ramp. Maybe this one was my favorite, actually.
I didn’t have the dollhouse.
My son wants a smart cycle.

I had that FP blue and yellow house as a kid and absolutely LOVED it!
Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
I have 3 children and it’s my son, who is 8, who really knows what he wants. Legos, video games, toy ATM machine, action figures, and a camera to film the little movies he makes. My daughter, who is 10, is getting the large Barbie house and she has also requested boots, and some art kits. My youngest is 5 and loves Kirby, from the video games, and hasn’t really asked for much. I have a nice list of ideas for them all and this card would really help us this Christmas.
I wish my kids would stick with one wish this year. They keep changing their minds. But so far the main items have stayed the same – one wants an Easy Bake Oven and the other a 20 inch bike. Very classic gifts that I am sure “Santa” will have no issues providing.
Yes, I had that dollhouse, too, as well as the schoolhouse with the yellow desks. I loved them! The kids would love a Nintendo DSi and some games for Christmas. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Hi Elizabeth: Oh, how I LOVED hearing your story and seeing one of my own favorite toys as a child. I was one of 7 kids, so our toy house took quite a beating…..but my Mom still has it. She was one to throw nearly everything away….do you blame her with 7 kids?! But — she did keep the house, garage and barn! I loved ringing the little doorbell!
My boys are 9 and 11 years old and would love a new electronic from Christmas – an Ipod touch, a Wii or PS3. Thanks for the opportunity and thanks for taking me back to that little yellow house and all the great memories I had too.
Surprisingly, my three kids aren’t asking for too many things this year…however, they are mostly big ticket items! My son wants a Wii, my daughter an iPod Touch, and my littlest girl is too young to say. Happy holidays to all!!
My daughter wants a Princess castle for Christmas!

Oh my gosh! I had that same dollhouse too! I guess we all did! And my sister & I spent so much time playing with it! My daughter who is now 10 had the Fisher Price Happy Family dollhouse for a long time when she was younger. Now she feels she’s too old for a dollhouse (but she still likes those Littlest Pet Shops figures, even tho she says they’re for the younger crowd! Sshh…don’t tell!)
This year, my children really have been clamoring for a Wii! So when the price dropped, I bought one. My daughter really hasn’t asked for much else in the way of toys. My son who is 7 is very much into the Lego sets, so we’ll be getting some of those as well.

Hi Elizabeth! I had the same dollhouse – and my mom kept all of our Fisher Price stuff for our own kids. But mice got into her garage and ruined the dollhouse. Thankfully I had found one a few years ago at a garage sale, and was able to put all of the people and furniture that my mom had saved with it. We have the farm set too.
Love them!!
My girls want just about everything they see (sigh), but what they asked Santa for are a Nintendo DS (Abby), Webkinz white poodle (Hannah) and new fishing game (Becca). The older girls also want new roller skates – inline for Abby and regular for Hannah. We’re waiting until spring for those though, lol. And Abby’s not getting a DS until her birthday next year. Would love to be able to finish our shopping at Toys R Us!!
OMG…memories! We had that dollhouse too. I always thought the garage was really cool!!!

My 2 younger daughters are very crafty and creative and they want some of those girley DIY kits (bracelets, shirts, purses) The oldest daughter is vying for some iTunes giftcards to load up her MP3 player.

This year, my 11 yr old daughter wants an iPhone. (as if I need to write this, it ain’t gonna happen.) My 5 yr old son would like just about anything and everything he’s seen advertised on TV but the 2 that keep coming up are the Snuggie and a candy jewelry maker. My little guy (almost 2) doesn’t have a wish list so I get to pick out whatever I want for him.

My daughter is only 10 months so it can be a little difficult determining what she really “wants”! However, while shopping in Toys R Us just yesterday, we ran across this very large stuffed bear. She adored it. She saw it, let out a shriek and buried her face in it while hugging it. I would have loved to have bought it for her right then and there. We’re hoping to be able to go back and get it before Christmas, so long as we can squeeze it into our budget.
My daughter really wants a Nintendo DSi.

I didn’t have a dollhouse like you do, but a smaller one.
I had the A-Frame house, a nice teal color I believe! My mom still has it somewhere, along with the pre-school, farm, and parking garage.
My daughter really wants a Snow White baby doll, and the new Tinkerbell movie. My son is only 18 months old, so he doesn’t know that he wants anything!
I have 2 amazing kids, ages 6 & 8. We asked them to write up a Christmas list for “Santa.” My son was the first to start, he’s the 6 year old. Fake bugs were at the top of his list this year. Then he notices that his sister is asking for a “robot that will clean her room for her and be her friend.” Of course my 6 year old thinks this is a GREAT idea and wants one too. Then she adds to her list an amusement park in the backyard. He runs to his list and starts asking me how to spell it. I told him it’s TRUMP. Apparently my kids think “Santa’s” last name has turned into Trump and think we have this huge yard for this sort of thing. I’m keeping these lists, labeling the back with their ages so they can see this when they get older and their children are asking for crazy things for Christmas. Gotta love em!
My children want various items, my 14y/o wants an ipod touch, my 5 y/o wants more than ANYTHING a Shrek operation game, My 3 y/o wants a remote controlled dirt bike, and my 2 y/o likes everything, he is still not too picky!

He’s asked for a Wii Fit Plus (oh the power of TV!) and 3 wants Zhu Zhu pets like crazy. Sadly those toys don’t multiply like the rodents the resemble so I think she’ll have to play with the Girl Gourmet cupcake set she has also asked for. Daddy-claus and I got Rock Band for everyone, plus an extra guitar. We’re planning to lobby for a Partridge Family edition of the game (NOT!). Hailey wants “a beautiful butterfly pet” for Christmas. I have no idea what that means.

I had the exact same family dollhouse when I was a kid. Mine got used all the time for many, many years. Man, that brings back the memories!
As for my kids. Well, I have 5 kids, and they want it ALL!
My tween is into the gadgets. She wants a Nintendo DSi so badly, and anything else that has to do with arts & crafts. My 6 year old wants anything that has to do with Bumblebee – the Transformer. My 5 year old has decided he’s going to grow up to be a UFC fighter (thanks, Daddy!), so he’s hoping for the new UFC toys that are out right now. My 3 year old is all about My Little Pony. And if it’s a pink pony, it’s that much better. And my 1 year old, well, he’s too little to tell me what he wants. Right now the toy catalog is much more fun to shred than to make a list from.
my son wants legos and video games and my daughter wants a laptop and video games.
I never had a doll house. My daughter had a barbie dollhouse that she loved when she was younger.

What my kids really want:
The Wii
The PS3
The Dsi (Three different kids)
And truth be told, my toddler would love some pans…not replica pans, but the real deals. He just loves them.
My daughter also wants Connect Four, and iBoo, and a Zhu Zhu pet, which I have but am scared to give her because of the rumors they may be harmful (sigh).
I did not have a doll house like yours, but I had a fold-up Sesame Street house with little characters that I LOVED!
Thank you for the giveaway. Happy holidays to you and yours too!!!!

My daughter wants a dollhouse this year. Were broke,so my husband built one out of scrap wood. I painted it, laid carpet scraps in it. To finish it off, I am modge podging little pictures of our family on the walls. It turned out really cute.
I would really like for all of my kids and grandkids to come home. I know it would be hard to pack all the gifts and everything else. At least they live close.

What a generous giveaway. I have one child whose list of wants is a mile long. He likes all the flyers from the mail to circle his wants. He really wants Battle Strikers. My other child wants a Marble Run and if he gets it, it will be his 2nd one. Oh how I love Christmas time.
Toys R Us is a pretty great toy store, it has a huge range of toys.

My daughter is 17 months so she doesn’t really “get it”. We took her to the toy store and let her roam free to see what she was drawn to. She is not a baby doll girl. She really enjoyed the Mr Potato head toys and the play store, grocery cart, food toys.

I had a dollhouse that looked kinda like that, but I’d need a closer lookto be certain! My daughter is asking for games for her Wii and DS this year. Since I got sick, she spends more time indoors with me, so she likes things I can either play or be close enough to watch. My nephew, who I have a lot of the time, really wants a Tickle Me Elmo and a little push car! Thanks
