okay, this is ALMOST Wordless. I called our local ice cream place on Dec. 20th needing a cake for Nathan’s birthday dinner the next day. And I didn’t want a cake that fed 16 people since it was just the 5 of us that night. The store had a “Yule Log” ice cream cake, and the clerk said she could write “Happy Birthday Nathan” on it. How do you think it turned out?
A. It looks just fine!
B. Um, that is a Cake Wreck for sure.

I think she could have done a better job writing on it, but it’s a cute (and unique!) birthday cake for sure!
I’m gonna have to say its a cake fail

Why did they offer to write on a cake that didn’t have room to write on?!

b. course I’m guessing Nathan didn’t mind one bit. 1. it had ice cream in it. 2. it was chocolate.

I forgot to mention that the inside was Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream! So yeah, it was a delicious cake!
Wow! I kind of am at a loss.
I don’t understand why the writing is done so awfully.
I like the cake in general but Wow!

I agree on the writing, you probably could have done it better. I just had a look at the cake wreck site, yours doesn’t belong there yet though. There’s much worse ones out there. Did the cake taste good? As long as Nathan enjoyed it, that’s the most important thing!

Ann-I agree, it’s not bad enough to submit to Cake Wrecks. At least all the words were spelled correctly and there were no swirls of brown “poo” frosting!

OH NO! Definitely a wreck! What were they thinking? Ran out of space-that’s for sure!

Lol! That’s hilarious…and they totally HAD room if they didn’t start in the middle. Submit that!

I guess I would say it was okay. Considering it was needed with no notice and they told you in advance I would say it is just fine.

Wow, harsh critics above! I was going to say it looks delicious. I hope he liked it and had a wonderful birthday.

It looks yummy, and if it’s made out of ice cream, then is good for me
That has to be the sorriest job of writing on a cake that I have ever seen. I can’t believe that they even let that leave the store, let alone taking money for it.
I think you are owed a free yule log.
