Another reason I love Swiffer – the SweeperVac

Since the first day I used a Swiffer product, I’ve been a fan. I use the original sweeper, the WetJet, I use the duster with the extendable handle, I use the 360° dusters, I use the regular cleaning cloths. There isn’t a Swiffer product I haven’t tried and loved!

So, when I got an email from Charlie at MS&L, the man who launched my product review career with that first Swiffer review, asking if I wanted to review a new Swiffer product, I said YES PLEASE. And in the mail came the new Swiffer SweeperVac.

Swiffer SweeperVac

The SweeperVac combines the textured dry cleaning cloth of the original sweeper with a cordless, battery-charged vacuum. The cloth gets fine dirt and dust, and the vacuum picks up cereal, large crumbs, leaves, and big dust bunnies :) It works fantastically well on hardwood, linoleum and tiled floors. I no longer use my broom in my kitchen or in the hallways of my house.

I’ll just admit it – it’s satisfying to empty the see-through dirt cup and see just how much ick I swept up! The only thing I would change about the SweeperVac is the way it charges. I don’t mind that it plugs in to recharge the battery, but it takes 12-18 hours to fully charge. So if I forget to plug it back in after I use it, it’s not always ready when I am. I’m not sure what the solution to that would be, though. I’d much rather plug in a charger than have to replace tons of double A batteries! Of course, it can also be used just as a dry sweeper without having to turn on the vacuum.

Swiffer SweeperVac gives you a clean you’ll love or your money back. Guaranteed! Visit http://www.swiffer.com/en_US/sweepervac.do to learn more about the money back guarantee. Look for the SweeperVac at a store near you!

disclosure: I received a Swiffer SweeperVac for this review. If you’re wondering why I’m posting a review when I said no more reviews here, it’s because I agreed to do this one before I made that decision :)

Swiffer is looking like a very handy tool for cleaning. I am using the old one and I am not satisfied with it. I am going to get my own Swiffer SweeperVac. I am sure that it ‘ll give me the best results.

I got a Swiffer SweeperVac for my birthday this year, from my sister–who keeps her house spotless. If she likes it, I knew it would be a winner. And it is! I love it, and like you have eliminated broom sweeping of my floors. This thing works so much better!

Definitely! And have you ever turned a broom over and really looked at the bristles? There’s all kinds of gunk stuck to them. Why sweep a dirty floor with a dirty broom? lol
