Have excellent Lands’ End suitcase, will travel

Before I left for BlogHer, Land's End sent me their FlightWise 22" Carry-on Upright rolling suitcase. It's sized to fit in the overhead bin of a plane, and comes with a heavy plastic zippered bag with 6 refillable plastic containers that meet all the TSA guidelines.  The outside pockets include a padded laptop pocket and there are two zippered pockets inside. Okay, so that's the official info, now here's my take on this bag - if you are going anywhere on an airplane, I highly, highly recommend this bag. I stuffed it full of four days' worth of clothes, two pairs of shoes, the TSA liquids bag, another makeup and products bag, and my laptop, and it was easy to roll and maneuver and surprisingly easy to get in and out of the overhead bin on the planes. I first “met” my internet twin on my blog reading rounds way back in ‘07.  This was back when I had TIME to do a blog reading rounds, and I realized that Elizabeth and I had several similarities in our lives.  In fact, it was the reason why I finally commented – to mention that we seemed to be twins.   At the time, I didn’t realize just how many things there really were. Things like: we’re the same age. we’re both SAHMs we both have 3 kids our kids are each close in age to the other It wasn’t until we FINALLY got to meet, though, that we discovered even MORE similarities, such as we’d both had 3 c-sections, we both had those lovely hernias, we’re both 5’ tall, we both are ummm.. pleasantly plump… I mean, the list just went on and on! Table for Five 2006 – See the header, meet the blogroll!

You GUYS. Guess what I found?? When I moved Table for Five from Blogspot to Wordpress.com, back in 2006, I was so pissed off at Blogger that I actually DELETED their copy of the blog once everything was moved over. I never thought that I would one day wish I could look back at it! Well, that day came, I wished, and I found something I never thought I'd see again.  I used the Wayback Machine to do a search for table4five.blogspot.com, and LOOK: I was hoping for something I wrote in 2005, but this was as far back as it went. If you are wondering why it says I'm married to "BC" in the About Me section, it's because originally Chris wanted me to use an alias for him.  Check out my humongous glasses! The theme was customized for me by a blogger whose name I can't remember now, I remember her telling me she used Photoshop to create the image in the header and I thought that was just the coolest thing to know how to do.
