Uncrustables Make My Life Easier

Smuckers UncrustablesWhen I saw this offer from Uncrustables on my SocialSpark dashboard, I had to say yes because sandwich crust is the bane of my child’s existence. I have never understood it, having eaten plenty of sandwiches as a kid and never insisting that my Mom cut the crusts off, but my daughter refuses to let sandwich crusts touch her lips.

If you’re not familiar with them, Uncrustables are individually wrapped, round peanut butter and jelly sandwiches made by Smuckers. The edges of the bread are fluted to hold the filling in, but there is no crust. They come in all these great flavors:

  • PB & Grape Jelly
  • PB & Grape Jelly on Whole Wheat
  • PB & Honey on Whole Wheat
  • PB & Strawberry Jam
  • PB & Strawberry Jam on Whole Wheat

The one I buy the most often is the PB & Strawberry Jam on Whole Wheat, because strawberry is me and my daughter’s favorite flavor of jam, and I like the flavor of whole wheat bread better. She’s headed to Kindergarten in the Fall, and Uncrustables are perfect for school lunches because you pull one out of the freezer, toss it in the lunch bag, it’s thawed by lunch time, and it’s a fresh PB&J!

Uncrustables are great for unstoppable kids – kids who don’t want to stop to eat! – and if your family is Unstoppable, enter to win a family adventure to Yosemite National Park through the Smucker’s Unstoppables contest. Just upload a photo of your family that shows their unstoppable qualities in action, along with a short caption. The top 10 entries will be posted for consumers to vote on. One lucky family will win a trip to Yosemite along with hotel, airfare, and spending money!

You can also keep up with Uncrustables online by giving them a Like on their Facebook page, where you will also find links for current promotions. Leave a message on their wall telling them what your favorite Uncrustables flavor is!  For Twitter users, follow Uncrustables on Twitter to keep up with the latest news.
