Plan a Fall Getaway to Branson, Missouri

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If I had the money, I would SO plan a long weekend getaway to somewhere with lots to do. Thanks to SocialSpark, I’ve learned a lot about Branson, Missouri, which is not just country music shows anymore. It’s got   a western-themed amusement park, the Titanic museum, outlet malls, golf courses, tons of live shows, shopping, dining, and beautiful hotels. Sounds heavenly!

Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is located within the Branson Landing district, the waterfront shopping, dining, and entertainment district with over 100 specialty stores. Give me a few days, and I could do some serious browsing! lol   The Hilton Promenade has an indoor pool, uses the Hilton Serenity beds (pillow-topped mattresses, SO comfy), offers in-room high speed internet, and a business center.  Room service is available, and for cocktails and meals, head across the street to the…

Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel!  Located next to the Convention Center, the Hilton Branson Convention Center is perfect for both business and leisure guests. After your day of shopping, drop off your bags in your room and then head to the outdoor pool, which has private poolside cabanas and outdoor fire pits with oversized seating. Have a cocktail at Clear, then head to Level 2 Steakhouse for 28 day aged grass-fed beef, fresh seafood flown in from Hawaii, locally grown produce, and desserts made right in the kitchen. YUM.

If I were to go, I would take my family to Silver Dollar City, because it sounds like fun! It’s just minutes away from both hotels and it’s near the Ozark Mountains, which I’ve always wanted to see. Besides roller coasters, there’s a nearby water park, craftsmen demonstrating pioneer crafts, family-friendly restaurants, shopping, and something really cool called “Ride the Duck”. It’s a 70-minute ride in a big vehicle that goes both on the road AND in the water, how fun is that?

Best of all, it’s not expensive, comparatively. The Hilton Promenade’s Silver Dollar City package starts at $257.50 a night and includes two adult and two children’s tickets. Additional tickets are available for $53 each.

  3. Branson has become the entertainment capital of the Midwest and autumn is the perfect time to visit. With the weather cooling down, autumn is the perfect time to visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Branson is the ideal setting for family fun and, with the variety of great travel packages available, visitors are sure to find one to meet their needs and budget.

Check out these deals for thrill seekers, holiday goers and shop-till-you-droppers at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel:

First, there are fun and thrills at Silver Dollar City, an 1880’s themed experience set within the picturesque Ozark Mountains in Branson, MO. The Silver Dollar City package features two adult and two children’s tickets and rooms starting at $257.50/night.

For those families with young children, the Santa Claus package features deluxe accommodations for a family of four (two adults and two children) and breakfast with Santa at the Level 2 Steakhouse with a special gift for the children. Rooms start at just $228 a night.

And for the shoppers, the deluxe shopping package includes hotel accommodations, a $25 gift card to Branson Landing, a second $25 gift card to Tanger Outlets, and complimentary breakfast buffet for two! Branson Landing is the perfect place to do all of your holiday shopping.

My personal favorite is the Silver Dollar City package. Our family enjoys theme parks but not the price of admission. Over the years, we have found it very economical to find hotels close to theme parks which offer admission to the park as part of the room rate. The Silver Dollar City package fits this to a “t.” With rooms starting at $257.50/night, the Silver Dollar City package features two adult and two children’s tickets. The posted price of these tickets would be over $220. Throw in the room for an additional $37.50 and we’ve got a deal!

I was also intrigued with the Santa Claus package particularly since my father was Santa at the Kennedy Center Brunch with Santa for over ten years. For those families with children, breakfast with Santa would be a fun way to start the holidays.

Of all the dining options, The Level 2 Steakhouse is my favorite. This fine dining restaurant offers: 28 days aged corn fed Midwest beef, fresh seafood flown in from Hawaii, heritage Missouri pork, locally grown produce and signature house made desserts. When we vacation, we always like to choose one place to enjoy a stellar meal and The Level 2 Steakhouse looks as if it would fit the bill.

If you are planning your stay at Thanksgiving, the Level 2 Steakhouse offers a Thanksgiving Brunch from 10am to 2pm. Check out the mouthwatering offerings: selections of imported and domestic cheeses, cured meats, vegetables and cold seafood; a full breakfast assortment featuring Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs with cheddar jack cheese, Belgium waffles or create your own omelet; a carving station complete with sage rubbed turkey served with Ozark sausage stuffing, cherry wood smoked Newman Farms Pork loin with Mushroom Spaetzle, and Panko crusted Mahi Mahi with mango aioli and charred pineapple; and, of course, a complete array of desserts. Brunch is priced at $39.00 per person.

For those of you in the mood for devouring a Thanksgiving feast while watching the football game, you could opt for the Level 2 “Turkey to Go” package which is enough to feed a family of four and is priced at $79.95. Note that “Turkey to Go”orders must be placed prior to November 19th.

I don’t know about you but a trip to Branson might just very well be in our plans for the future.

I’ve heard an awful lot about Branson from friends, but they were always going down there for honky-tonk weekend and that never appealed to me. Still, I hear the waterfront is niche. It would be fun to pack the kids into the double stroller for infant and toddler and go check out whats down there.

Branson has long been a popular destination for vacationers from Missouri and neighboring areas. The construction of music theaters by nationally-known performers along Highway 76 has increased Branson’s popularity as a tourist destination. Branson now draws visitors from all regions of the country, mostly by car or bus.
