Motorola Droid RAZR Smartphone Giveaway!

This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to the winner chosen by random.org, #85 Rust Hawk!

As a member of the Verizon Wireless #MidWestMoms, I’ve had the chance to review the Motorola Xoom Tablet and the Droid Bionic and share my thoughts about them with you, and now I get to do something amazing – give away the new Motorola Droid RAZR Smartphone!  This phone looks so cool, you guys.  Remember when they first came out in 2004 and they were THE phone to have?

Chris and I were using Nextel push-to-talk phones back then, which were definitely not as sleek and stylish as the RAZR.   Now, Motorola has updated the RAZR as a Droid Smartphone, and I get to give one away!

I haven’t tried the new Droid RAZR myself, but these are some of the features that make the RAZR unique and have me excited to be giving one away:

  • The thinnest 4G LTE smartphone at 7.1 millimeters (that’s .27 inches. SUPER thin!)
  • Runs on the Verizon 4G LTE Network, available in 160 cities and counting. I have 4G LTE on my Droid Bionic, it is FAST.
  • The Dual–Core 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM can handle photos, music, movies, all at lightning speeds.
  • The RAZR is back-plated with laser cut KEVLAR® fiber (yeah, the bullet proof vest stuff), has a water repellant nanocoating, and features a Corning® Gorilla Glass® display. Seriously people, KEVLAR. This is one tough phone.
  • Lets you create a 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot and tether up to 8 wi-fi enabled devices. Very convenient for travel and conferences!
  • Use MotoCast to stream and download pictures, music, videos, and documents between your PC and DROID RAZR while on the go.

WIN IT:  One lucky Table for Five reader will win a Motorola Droid RAZR smartphone!  For your required entry, leave a comment on this post telling me about your current phone and why you want to win the RAZR. This must be done before any bonus entries will count.   Enter by December 3rd, 2011 at 12:01 a.m EST.   Open to U.S. residents 18 and over only. Thanks for entering and good luck everybody!

CONTEST DETAILS: One winner will be chosen by random.org from among entries received by December 3rd 2011 at 12:01 a.m. EST. The winner will be contacted via email and has 24 hours to respond. If winner does not respond within said time a new winner will be selected at random. Winner will need to provide name, email and address for shipment and prize will be shipped out via FedEx. To be honest, I would love to win this phone for my wife. She used to have a BlackBerry until it finally stopped working. It actually never really worked for her. Since the birth of our first child, she’s been unable to work as a rehab assistant due to health complications. I’ve been working 2 jobs ever since, and would gladly continue to do so for my family. She wants to start a business from home, crocheting kids wear and accessories and thought that an android device, with all of its applications and such, would be a perfect fit for her. I know she feels bad and wants to do her part, even though I always say not to worry. I would love to give this to her.

There is NO comparison to the crappy phone I am always ashamed to pull out of my purse when it rings. I would really love to own an updated phone, just think how jealous my children would be since I have given them all of my upgrades for the past three years. I would be able to do anything with this Motorola Droid Razr :)

I need this phone! :) Current one has a keypad – would LOVE a touch screen. This phone is amazing!

I would love to be able to do reviews and give-aways also, I don’t know how to go about doing that though. http://www.rootyourdroid.net/

I’m still using my Verizon LG Venus…it’s only redeeming quality is it is pink. The camera broke months ago (no loss since it took horrible pictures) and it takes me a lunar cycle to send a text message..ugh!. I’ve been drooling over the smartphones and was waiting for the RAZR to come out; so many awesome apps I want to use especially all the mobile coupons!

I’ve yet to make the leap into the world of smartphones; I am still carrying the original Motorola RAZR. This phone is gorgeous though, and I would be thrilled to make it my upgrade. Android is definitely the choice when I do make the switch.

  14. Kevin says:

I would love this because I most likely have the oldest phone out of any commenters here. 6 years and counting! Some random LG from Verizon that I know I need to replace asap before I’m left unconnected.

Oh, and get this. It’s a flip phone!

My current phone is a LG Thrive. To compare my LG to the Droid Razr would be like comparing a 2011 Ferrari to a 1999 Honda Civic. Yes they both have 4 wheels, an engine and will get you from point A to point B, but let’s face it, the experience will not really be all that nice in the Civic and it will be mind blowing in the Ferrari.

My phone has a 600mhz CPU that’s really only good for the basics, anything more taxing and you’re reminded that you’re using a budget phone. That’s why I need to win the Droid Razr.

Hey- I love my vintage 90s Honda and bet my mechanic is more economically feasible than your Ferrarri man.
Also know a Honda is fun BOTH at 100 mph and at 25 mph.
Going slow in a Ferrarri is a real drag.

Just giving you a hard time.
Good luck with the contest here.

The RAZR would help out so much more than my current phone because it’s really awesome.

I used the blackberry pearl 8120, Its uses the first wave of internet technology. Awful. Verizon just took over my area and I can’t wait to upgrade! Being in College a cellphone is required to stay in touch with family and friends along with the online content teachers are pumping out.

i currently have a basic phone, the Samsung Convoy. I used to have a Blackberry Storm, which I loved. The time came to downsize for household budgeting reasons, so I switched to the Convoy. It has worked great for my job, being outside in the dust and dirt. Now I would like a Droid phone to be able to access the web, and take better pictures of my two daughters that we just adopted!!

  48. Thomas Burnam says:

I need this phone because my current phone is a dumb phone. The Razr is an amazing piece of machineary. I had a Blackberry Storm at one poinit but it had a unfixable glitch and I had to revert to a flip phone. Texting on this flip phone is for the birds. I’d love to win a RAZR.

  49. Michael Zab says:

I have the OG Droid and have been developing apps on it, but I need the faster processor speeds that come with the Razr to continue on getting great apps out there to everybody.

  50. Lanna says:

Welp, considering my phone is 3 years old and a cheapy little pay-as-you-go where you have to ‘type’ pushing each number button 1-6 times for each letter, yeah. I am totally in the stone age compared to most everybody else here (barring my children of course – no cell phones just for them until they pay the bill themselves). Bonus is that I could download a bunch of educational-type apps for the kids so we could have school-to-go so to speak. I’m all about multitasking. :D
