Darn it, I thought I had completed all my LinkPosts before I left for BlogHer, but apparently not, because I had a rather urgent email this morning reminding me that this one was due. So, readers, may I please present to you for your review pleasure, ShareInAFrame.com.
“Share” meaning a share of stock, and “Frame” as in, well, the stock certificate nicely framed for gift giving. With summer being a big wedding season, ShareInAFrame suggests you consider giving a share of stock as a unique wedding gift idea. Just imagine if you had been given stock in Microsoft or Apple or eBay, the cash value would be a whole lot more than a pair of crystal candlesticks, that’s for sure.
I also like ShareInAFrame’s suggestion of giving framed shares of stock to your wedding party for a unique groomsmen gift. Does your soon-to-be husband like to get together with his friends over a few beers, or are they always borrowing each other’s lawnmowers and table saws? You could give the groomsmen shares of stock in Anheuser-Busch or Home Depot! And let’s not forget the bridesmaids, you could give them shares of Target Corp., the Gap, or eBay, presented in a lovely frame and possibly worth a whole lot more than a bracelet or earrings.
And now here is a BRILLIANT idea for a First Wedding Anniversary present, which is traditionally the paper anniversary-a framed stock certificate! You choose which high quality wooden frame you like, which color of matting, and then you can engrave the frame with up to three lines, so you’ll have no problem fitting names and dates on the plaque. This is truly a unique anniversary gift! Check out ShareInAFrame.com for great gift ideas or for yourself, you might be buying something that will be worth a whole lot of money some day!
