Day 4 Giveaway-Lander Kids Bubble Bath and Bath Toys

LANDER® Kids Bubble Bath is available in 3 fun, nose-tickling scents: Wacky Watermelon, Silly Strawberry and Berry Blast! As a value-based line,  Lander products do not always receive the attention that they deserve, despite being quality products residing on store shelves for more than 85 years. However, as you know, in today’s economy many families have tightened the notches on their spending belt and done away with many “unnecessary” purchases, including additional indulgences, such as bubble bath. Rediscovering Lander bath products is a sure way to make bath time with your kids more fun without worrying about your budget. The Lander Kids Bubble Bath comes in a 50.7 oz. size bottle, providing more than 40 bubble bath uses, and retails for less than $4 each!

In addition to Kids’ Bubble Bath, Lander also makes a terrific 3-in-1 product that can be used as shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath for adults, and Lander Essentials bubble bath in scents like Rose Petal, Sugar Vanilla, Cucumber Melon, and Lavendar and Chamomile. To make a wonderful holiday gift basket, fill a wicker basket (available at many dollar stores) with Lander 3-in-1, Foam Bath, Body Oil, one of those puffy shower sponges, and a loofah or bath mitt. Available since 1920, Lander is an “American Classic” that many people have been using for years!

Lander

Review: Lander sent us a bottle of the Kids’ Bubble Bath in the Berry Blast scent. I’ll admit, I was nervous about using it for Kaitlyn’s baths, because she has very sensitive skin that gets dry and itchy with the wrong products. For her first year, we couldn’t even use regular soap or baby wash on her, we had to buy a special product that didn’t lather at all. I had been buying a sensitive skin kid’s bubble bath, but I decided that one quick bath with the Lander product just for this review wouldn’t hurt.

Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Lander Kid’s Bubble Bath was very gentle! It didn’t dry out her skin at all, even after about a 15 minute bath in a tub full of the bubbles. At around $4.00 for 50 ounces, it’s sure a heck of a lot cheaper than the name brand product I had been buying! I can honestly say I’ll be buying Lander Kid’s Bubble Bath when this bottle runs out!

WIN IT: Lander will send two lucky Table for Five readers each a year’s supply of Lander Kid’s Bubble Bath, which is three 50 ounce bottles! Plus a couple of little bath toys for fun in the tub. 8 Days of Giveaways: Win a Hana Professional Flat Iron!

On the first day of Christmas, my friend Elizabeth from Table for Five gave to me…an opportunity to win a Hana Professional Flat Iron and accessories worth almost $200.00 !! Misikko beauty supply store, with a location outside Philadelphia as well as a popular online store, is spreading the word about the fantastic Hana products they sell, and they generously sent me a Hana Professional Flat Iron to review, and will send one to the winner of this giveaway!  The suggested retail price for the Iron itself is $189.99, plus the winner gets a silicone heatproof mat to set the hot iron on, a storage pouch, and a cute tin that holds everything.

I’ve tried several times in the past, very unsuccessfully, to use flat irons on my wavy hair.  My hair has always been straight but thick, until after I had Kaitlyn when my hair spent about 3 months falling out and then grew back in wavy. I tried the “natural” look, but the majority of the waves are in the back, leaving me with half-straight, half-wavy hair that doesn’t look good no matter what.  My solution was to spend a good 20 minutes staring at the hair straighteners at Target, finally choosing a cheap one because I didn’t think it mattered.

It matters. My cheap flat iron barely gets hot and I have to go over every piece of hair about 5 times to get it anywhere near straight. The Hana Professional has adjustable heat, ceramic plates infused with tourmaline (a crystal that produces negative ions that reduce static), and can even be used on hair that is still damp. I had my husband take some “before” and “after” photos, I hope you can see the difference!

Hair After

The pictures don’t show how much smoother my hair felt in that After photo, and it stayed straight all day. It only took about 10 minutes to have a “good hair day” all day!
