Lip Licking and Eye Blinking-It’s Me on Video!

Okay, I have to tell you this before you watch this video- I was seriously dehydrated at BlogHer. Even though there was juice and pop to drink everywhere, and I drank as much and as often as I could, I still was badly dehydrated by Saturday. My tongue was dried out and swollen, which I know, ewwww. But I’m telling you that because I think it’s the reason why I keep licking my lips in this video interview with Maria Bailey from BSM Media. Why I keep smiling weirdly and blinking my eyes so much, I have no idea. I think this is why TV people have coaches for this sort of thing. Anyway, if you want to watch, here you go:

See? LickLickLick BlinkBlinkBlink. Maybe I should make my kids interview me on video once in a while so I can train myself not to look like such a dork. But thank you Maria, I really appreciate the opportunity! See more Mom TV interviews from BlogHer at http://community.momtv.com/.

Any Baby Can provides a wide range of services and education to help the youngest, sickest, and poorest children and their families. Although I am NOT in any way helping to choose winners for this contest, I’m sure lots of you reading this have a video camera and can pass on some parenting wisdom, so if you make a video, I’d love to have you come back and leave a comment with your link! Have fun!

My video for Rockstartup and VH1!!

You are not going to believe it, but I made a video! Or rather, my son made a video of me talking and trying to hold a squirmy Kaitlyn. I look splotchy, and way too serious, and I don’t smile at all until the very end. Clearly, I am NOT a video star! BUT, I made the video for a good cause. The good people at PayPerPost produce a show called RockStartUp. They are trying to convince VH1 that it would be a great show for them to air, and they asked us Posties to make a short video saying why we think that would be true. Why shouldn’t there be a reality show about a great company that helps bloggers make money and have fun? I figured, what the heck? So please enjoy my short video. And don’t make fun of me for looking like such a dork.

Edited to add: What I say at the end really quietly is “click”, so that Ryan would click the shutter button on the camera to stop the recording :)
